My brother-in-law used to own a restaurant called the Chicken Shack in Spartanburg, SC. He made the best fried chicken. He also did hamburgers and hot dogs. We loved his hotdog chili. He made it himself and without exact measurements so this is as close as I could get for his recipe.
Hamburger
Chili Powder
Salt
Pepper
Paprika
Catsup
Thaw beef and brown in skillet. Drain and rinse meat. Add seasonings, catsup and water until desired thickness. Let come to a boil, simmer for 15 minutes. Turn down and let it cook for a little while on lower heat.
This is the digital scrapbook page I made of Mike and his chili recipe.
