About Me

My photo
I’m a Christian, first and foremost. It is the first description I can give of myself. Next I was blessed with a wonderful family. I had wonderful parents and we were raised in a Christian family with lots of love. I have 2 younger sisters and their children are like my own. Now they have grown up and have children of their own and they are like our grandchildren. My father was a TVA Engineer when I was born and we lived all over Tennessee my first 8 yrs of life but then we moved to upstate SC and have been here ever since. One of my interests is genealogy and I’ve been blessed that both my husband’s family and my family have lived around us within a 300 mile radius for hundreds of years which makes it easier. My husband and I have been married for over 44 years. He still works but is close to retirement. I’m disabled. I spend a lot of time on my interests and I use my blog to document my projects much like a scrapbook.

Leviticus 20:1-5

Leviticus 20:1-5 KJVA  And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,  2  Again, thou shalt say to the children of Israel, Whosoever he be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn in Israel, that giveth any of his seed unto Molech; he shall surely be put to death: the people of the land shall stone him with stones.  3  And I will set my face against that man, and will cut him off from among his people; because he hath given of his seed unto Molech, to defile my sanctuary, and to profane my holy name.  4  And if the people of the land do any ways hide their eyes from the man, when he giveth of his seed unto Molech, and kill him not:  5  Then I will set my face against that man, and against his family, and will cut him off, and all that go a whoring after him, to commit whoredom with Molech, from among their people.

Leviticus 20:2-5 MKJV  Again you shall say to the sons of Israel, Any man of the sons of Israel or of the strangers who live in Israel, that gives any of his seed to Molech, he shall surely be put to death. The people of the land shall stone him with stones.  3  And I will set My face against that man, and will cut him off from among his people, because he has given of his seed to Molech, to defile My sanctuary, and to profane My holy name.  4  And if the people of the land in any way hide their eyes from the man when he gives of his seed to Molech, and do not kill him,  5  then I will set My face against that man and against his family, and will cut him off, and all that go lusting after him to commit adultery with Molech, from among their people.

Leviticus 20:2-5 LITV  And you shall say to the sons of Israel, Any man of the sons of Israel, and of the aliens who are living in Israel, who gives of his seed to Molech dying shall die. The people of the land shall stone him with stones!  3  And I, I shall set My face against that man, and shall cut him off from the midst of his people, for he has given of his seed to Molech, so as to defile My sanctuary, and to pollute My holy name.  4  And if the people of the land truly hide their eyes from that man, as he gives his seed to Molech, so as not to put him to death,  5  then I shall set My face against that man, and against his family, and shall cut him off, and all who go whoring after him, even going whoring after Molech from the midst of their people.

Leviticus 20:2-5 ESV  “Say to the people of Israel, Any one of the people of Israel or of the strangers who sojourn in Israel who gives any of his children to Molech shall surely be put to death. The people of the land shall stone him with stones.  3  I myself will set my face against that man and will cut him off from among his people, because he has given one of his children to Molech, to make my sanctuary unclean and to profane my holy name.  4  And if the people of the land do at all close their eyes to that man when he gives one of his children to Molech, and do not put him to death,  5  then I will set my face against that man and against his clan and will cut them off from among their people, him and all who follow him in whoring after Molech.

Leviticus 20:1-5 CEV  The LORD told Moses  2  to say to the community of Israel: Death by stoning is the penalty for any citizens or foreigners in the country who sacrifice their children to the god Molech.  3  They have disgraced both the place where I am worshiped and my holy name, and so I will turn against them and no longer let them belong to my people.  4  Some of you may let them get away with human sacrifice,  5  but not me. If any of you worship Molech, I will turn against you and your entire family, and I will no longer let you belong to my people.

Molech/Moloch - Leviticus 18:21; Deuteronomy 12:31, Deuteronomy 18:10; 2 Kings 17:17, 2 Kings 23:10; 2 Chronicles 28:3, 2 Chronicles 33:6; Psalms 106:38; Isaiah 57:5-6; Jeremiah 7:31, Jeremiah 32:35; Ezekiel 16:20-21, Ezekiel 20:26, Ezekiel 20:31, Ezekiel 23:37, Ezekiel 23:39; Acts 7:43

Deuteronomy 12:29-31 MKJV  When Jehovah your God shall cut off the nations before you, where you go to possess them, and you take their place and dwell in their land,  30  take heed to yourself that you do not become snared by following them, after they are destroyed from before you, and that you do not ask about their gods, saying, How did these nations serve their gods, that I too may do likewise?  31  You shall not do so to Jehovah your God. For every abomination to Jehovah, which He hates, they have done to their gods; even their sons and their daughters they have burned in the fire to their gods.

2 Kings 17:12-18 MKJV  For they served the idols, of which Jehovah had said to them, You shall not do this thing.  13  And Jehovah testified against Israel, and against Judah, by all the prophets, by all the seers, saying, Turn from your evil ways and keep My commandments, My statutes, according to all the Law which I commanded your fathers, and which I sent to you by My servants the prophets.  14  But they would not hear, but hardened their necks, like the neck of their fathers who did not believe in Jehovah their God.  15  And they rejected His statutes and His covenant which He made with their fathers, and His testimonies which He testified against them. And they went after the vain thing, and became vain, and after the nations around them, concerning whom Jehovah had charged them not to do like them.  16  And they left all the commandments of Jehovah their God, and made molten images, two calves, for themselves. And they made an Asherah and worshiped all the host of heaven, and served Baal.  17  And they caused their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire. And they used divination and incantations, and sold themselves to do evil in the sight of Jehovah, to provoke Him to anger.  18  So Jehovah was very angry with Israel, and turned them away from His face; not one was left, only the tribe of Judah by itself.

"The Rabbins describe this idol as made of brass sitting upon a throne of the same metal, in the form of a man, with the head of a calf, adorned with a royal crown, and his arms extended as if to embrace any one. When they offered any children to him, they heated the statue by a great fire kindled within, and the victim was put into his arms, and thus consumed. Others relate, that the idol, which was hollow, was divided into seven compartments within; in one of which they put flour, in the second turtles, in the third a ewe, in the fourth a ram, in the fifth a calf, in the sixth an ox, and the seventh a child; which were all burnt together by heating the statue inside." - Treasury of Scripture Knowledge Cross References

Molech/Moloch was an idol, a pagan deity, in the land of Canaan that required child sacrifice. The idol was a bronze statue that could be superheated. While drums drowned out the child's screams, the priests of Molech placed the child in the arms of the idol where it roasted, or burned, to death. Why were children sacrificed? The worshipers of this idol thought it was the way to invoke the blessing and protection of the god. The nation, the cult, the parents would somehow get a benefit from sacrificing a child (financial prosperity, protection, better crops, etc. It's possible Molech was Milcom, god of the Ammonites or it's another name, epithet, for Baal. It's similar to melek which means "king" in Hebrew. "The word Moloch occurs 8 times in the Masoretic text of the Hebrew Bible; in one of these instances (1 Kings 11:7) it is probably a mistake for Milcom, the god of the Ammonites. Five of the others are in Leviticus, with one in 2 Kings and another in The Book of Jeremiah." (Wikipedia)

In 2 Kings, Moloch is associated with the tophet in the valley of Gehenna when it is destroyed by king Josiah:

2 Kings 23:10 And he defiled Topheth, which is in the valley of the son of Hinnom, that no man might make his son or his daughter to pass through the fire to Molech

Tophet - It was a place in Jerusalem in the Valley of Gehenna where people engaged in child sacrifice before it was destroyed by King Josiah.

In John Milton's Paradise Lost (1667), Moloch is one of the greatest warriors of the fallen angels,

First MOLOCH, horrid King besmear'd with blood
Of human sacrifice, and parents tears,
Though, for the noyse of Drums and Timbrels loud,
Their children's cries unheard that passed through fire
To his grim Idol. Him the AMMONITE
Worshipt in RABBA and her watry Plain,
In ARGOB and in BASAN, to the stream
Of utmost ARNON. Nor content with such
Audacious neighbourhood, the wisest heart
Of SOLOMON he led by fraud to build
His Temple right against the Temple of God
On that opprobrious Hill, and made his Grove
The pleasant Vally of HINNOM, TOPHET thence
And black GEHENNA call'd, the Type of Hell.

How does this pertain to today? Surely we don't offer child sacrifice to a bronze statue... or do we?

When women find themselves pregnant and don't want to have the child, abortion has become their solution. Millions of women have sacrificed their unborn children to the god of self. Pro Abortionists (aka Pro Choicers) are sacrificing unborn babies to the gods of self. They love to say it's about the choice of what to do with their own bodies. But, because of their choices in having sex, they have conceived a new human being and it's no longer just about their body, it's also about the body of another human being, the baby. This unprotected, vulnerable, silent child in the womb is at the mercy of their murderous mother. Infanticide is the killing of one's own children.

Women have all kinds of reasons and excuses to kill their unborn children. They can't afford a child at this time (sacrificing a child to the god of money). They don't want to raise a child by themselves (sacrificing a child to the god of convenience). They don't want a child by the biological father because they don't want the complication or they don't really like the father or it was rape or incest (sacrificing a child to the god of convenience or selfishness). They are too busy to have a child (sacrificing a child to the god of convenience). They assume the child is going to be a problem because they believe it to be handicapped, retarded, malformed, diseased (sacrificing a child to the god of money, convenience, selfishness). They don't want to go through a pregnancy (sacrificing a child to the god of selfishness). They are afraid to tell their parents, spouse or family (sacrificing a child to the god of selfishness and convenience). They are afraid a pregnancy will affect their career (sacrificing to the god of money, selfishness and career).

All of these reasons are a woman's way to hide her sin or avoid a painful situation. In most cases, the woman is pregnant due to having consensual sex. She had a choice in the bedroom. She didn't have to have sex with a man. She had a choice whether to have sex or not with the man. The man has a choice. Whether to have sex with the woman or not. THAT'S THE TIME TO MAKE A CHOICE AND A THOUGHTFUL DECISION! Once a child is conceived, the choice should always be to have the child NOT KILL THE CHILD for your own selfish reasons.

If you don't want your parents to hear you say, "Mom, Dad, I'm pregnant", then don't have sex with the young man. If you are afraid of telling your spouse, "I'm pregnant with another man's child" then don't have sex with the man. If you can't afford a child, don't have sex. If you are too busy for a child, then you are too busy to have sex. If you don't want a child, don't have sex.

You know, before birth control, sex could very easily lead to pregnancy. So our ancestors used natural methods of birth control... it's called restraint. I do a lot of genealogy. And I've been amazed at how the children were spaced out in large families. If a couple were fertile, then a child usually appeared within the first year of marriage. After that, children were usually about 2 years apart. With no birth control, how can that be? They used restraint. They were careful and used wisdom and restraint. Abstinence as birth control. If they didn't have any self control, then a pregnancy could be the consequence. Good men, who used wisdom and loved their wives, were careful to not get them pregnant too soon after the last child was born to give their wives' bodies a time to heal and be ready for the next child. Good men, who used wisdom, stayed faithful to their wives because they knew straying could result in complications they didn't want to face such as a pregnancy and unwanted child. Don't get me wrong, a lot of men didn't use wisdom and restraint and they had to deal with the consequences of their sin. A lot of women didn't use wisdom and restraint and had to deal with the consequences of their sin. But what I'm saying is that you don't HAVE to sleep with every man that comes along. You don't have to have sex with every man you date. You don't have to fornicate and commit adultery. You can be smart and use restraint. Make good life choices and good decisions. In the past, if someone didn't want a pregnancy, they had to use some self control. You have choices, so use your mind and make good choices. It's called self control.

Just because everyone promotes sex outside of marriage and society thinks being sexually active is normal doesn't mean you have to have sex with every Tom, Dick and Harry. You don't HAVE to have sex. It's a natural desire but it's a voluntary action that you can control. It's not like breathing. With breathing your body has to take in oxygen or you die. Not having sex doesn't kill you. You may think every man expects sex as soon as you meet. And that's what the world portrays. But you have a choice. You can say "No".

What about rape and incest? When a woman says NO but the man forces her or vice versa. Even though it was beyond your control and you had no choice to make, a child is the result and it's not the child's fault. It is a human being, made in the image of God, quickened by the very life breath of God. It is not up to you to decide the child should die. If you have such hate for your unborn child, put it up for adoption, but don't kill your child. Remember, that child is innocent.

I remember, as a teenager, who was thinking about being sexually active, I wanted to think of a fetus as just growing human tissue. I didn't see anything wrong with removing a fetus. It was just like removing a tumor. But one day I heard a preacher on TV read the Bible verses that totally and radically changed my mind, Psalm 139. Here is part of it:

Psalms 139:13-19 ESV  For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb.  14  I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.  15  My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth.  16  Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.  17  How precious to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them!  18  If I would count them, they are more than the sand. I awake, and I am still with you.  19  Oh that you would slay the wicked, O God! O men of blood, depart from me!

I realized then that a fetus is a human being made in the image of God and God planned that child. God, alone, should be in control of our conception, our life and our death. It is not up to us to make life/death decisions. That is in the realm of God. Our life is in His Hands and belongs to Him. When we try to take control of life and death, we are essentially telling God that His Ways and Decisions are not good enough and we know better than God. We play god. We pretend that we know best and we play god with an innocent human being's life. Idolatry.

To me, abortion is child sacrifice no matter what your reasons are. It is a sacrifice to money, to selfishness, to convenience, to the idol of self. The Bible is my standard and the Bible says that unborn child, while it was even an unformed substance (when it's just beginning as cell replicates cell), was planned and God had a purpose in mind.

Child sacrifice also occurs when someone submits their children to abuse of any kind. You are harming your children for the god of self. Whatever selfish reasons you have for harming your children, it's sacrificing them to your own god of self. Sexual pleasure? As an outlet for your anger? Sadistic gratification? For drugs? For money? Do you sell your children for money? Do you sell your children for position and power? Do you sell your children for drugs? Do you beat your children because you like to? Do you rape your children because you are a pedophile? Do you kill your child(ren) for your own selfishness?

Child abduction by men and women in order to sell children into sex trafficking is sacrificing children to the god of money. It may not be done by a parent selling their child (although that happens) but an abduction. But an adult is making a profit off the use and final death of a child. An adult has sacrificed a child just like the priests of Molech who took the child from the parent and handed the child into the burning arms of the idol statue.

Former sex slave Anneke Lucas was raped and tortured by elite wealthy aristocrats and politicians in a pedophile ring in Belgium. Her mother sold her and drove her to these assignations with an elite Belgium pedophile ring. The boss of the this pedophile ring was a Belgian Cabinet Minster. At 6 yrs old she was taken to her first orgy in a castle. "I was first taken to the paedophile ring when I was six by a woman who worked as a cleaning lady for my mother. She and her husband took me away for a weekend to babysit me and it was her husband who took me to the paedophile ring. "Later on, my mother got involved and then she started to take me herself. My mother was never really a mother. She was a very sick woman and a psychopath." At 11 yrs old she was considered no longer useful so they tortured her for pleasure. She was supposed to be killed but one man saved her. She recalled: "I was strapped to a butcher's block that was black with all the blood of children that had come before me. "One man was forcing five young children to harm me. It was part of their indoctrination. The torture lasted for a few hours."

Children at high risk of falling prey to traffickers are those in the child welfare system due to abuse and neglect; in foster care or group homes; involved with the juvenile justice system; or who have run away from home. In 2014, about one in six endangered runaways who were reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children were likely victims of sex trafficking. Of those, 68% were in the care of social services or foster care when they ran away.

Here is another way of worshiping Molech. Planned Parenthood makes money from every abortion they perform. It's a business to them. Either you pay for the abortion or the government pays for the abortion. It's in their financial best interests for every woman to kill their unborn children. They are in the murder business. But not only do they make money performing abortions. They've learned how to make money from the baby parts leftover from the abortions. They sell tissue to be used in labs. If that isn't sacrificing children for their own gain, I don't know what is!

In 2017, through an undercover video operation, abortion providers were recorded during a party bragging about how much they made off of certain body parts.

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/science/2016/03/15/aborted-babies-incinerated-to-heat-uk-hospitals/
March 24, 2014. Many British hospitals are incinerating the remains of aborted and miscarried babies as “clinical waste” and as a means of heating their buildings in “waste-to-energy” programs. The concept of using the human remains of children as a fuel source is an abomination.

"There is the grossest absurdity that can be in all the rites of idolatry, and they are all a great reproach to men's reason; but none trampled upon all the honours of human nature as this did, the burning of children in the fire to the honour of a dunghill-god. It was a plain evidence that their gods were devils, who desired and delighted in the misery and ruin of mankind, and that the worshippers were worse than the beasts that perish, perfectly stripped, not only of reason, but of natural affection." - Matthew Henry Commentary

If the people refused to confront and execute a person who sacrificed children to Molech, then God would do it. "I will set my face against that man and his clan and will cut them off from among their people, him and all who follow him in whoring after Molech."

If you feel convicted of the sin of sacrificing your child(ren) whether through an abortion, or in any other way, then that is the Holy Spirit reaching out to you. He is calling you to repentance and salvation and forgiveness through Jesus Christ. Do not reject the call of God, do not put Him off. Go to your knees and ask forgiveness and ask Jesus to be your Savior. You can be forgiven. God loves you even if you've done terrible things. And Jesus' power to forgive and cleanse us, save us, is unlimited! We may suffer from the consequences of our sin, but we can be forgiven of our sin, made righteous, clean, and be loved.
