Clarence owned the general store show in these photographs. They lived in the house across the street from this store. The house and store were still there when I took these photos in 2003.

1) Franklin Drayton Prince (DOB 7/18/1880 in Union County, SC; DOD 5/13/1940 in Spartanburg, SC) married Mary “Mollie, Molly” Cynthia Bain (DOB 10/10/1885 in Spartanburg County, SC; DOD 10/31/1974 in Spartanburg, Spartanburg County, SC).

2) Victor Clarence Prince (DOB 12/19/1882 in Union County, SC; DOD 4/30/1945 in Atlanta, GA). He was a hobo. His obituary is in the Spartanburg Herald Journal, 5/2/1945, Pg 7, obituary of Victor C. Prince.

3) Martha E. “Mattie” Prince (DOB 8/23/1878 in Union County, SC; DOD 3/29/1941 in Spartanburg, SC) married Clarence Cooper Sanders, Sr. (DOB 2/6/1878 in Union County, SC; DOD 12/4/1955 in Spartanburg, SC) on 4/12/1908 in Union County, SC. They had 2 children: Clarence Cooper Sanders, Jr., Amelia Sanders Rice, Edith Frances Sanders.
